TAPASS Project

I am a project leader in the Training Project Amsterdams Seniors and Stroke patients (TAPASS), in which healty elderly subjects and stroke patients spend three months on brain training online (30 min per day). Before and after the period of training, participants undergo an extensive battery of neuropsychological tests. Part of the participants undergo MRI scanning as well.

The goal is to evaluate whether brain training can improve mental vitality and may be part of long-term rehabilitation program of stroke patients. We will also investigate how the brain changes as a result of the training.
